WHO WE ARE

OUR IDENTITY IN LOVE

“And the WORD was made flesh and dwelled among us”. – John 1:14

We are a non-profit family called to serve the Mayan elderly in San Lucas Tolimán as they face the difficulties of life, health and poverty. We are called to be an incarnate manifestation of God’s tender love to our beloved “abuelos” and to this community through the gift of presence, hospitality, prayer and works of love.

Our Vision

To console the Heart of Jesus by reaching out to and serving Him
in the abandoned and forgotten elderly in San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala.

Our Mission

We seek to improve the lives of the elderly by seeking out those who have become marginalized and forgotten in their community due to lack of family or financial support.  Once found, these elderly will be supported in order to understand and respond to their basic human needs for affection, food, water, shelter, medical care, belonging and a dignified death.  Addressing these needs with mercy and compassion will be part of affirming their inherent value and worth as a children of God.

We believe and live out the words of Christ,

“Whatever you did for one of these least brothers of Mine, you did it to Me.”

Matthew 25:40
